What To Expect At Your Visit
I utilize an integrative approach with the client's individual needs in mind. I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, all while remaining person-centered.

Our first visit is typically spent getting to know each other - why are you seeking help at this time? How do you best feel supported? Gathering this information will help me understand your needs and goals, as well as help me come up with the best way to help you.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is exactly that - individual. You want someone who understands and can help you discover your true potential. I provide an honest, open dialogue with clients to aid them in gaining insight into their lives. I believe that through individual therapy, clients can identify their own solutions.

My Story
I am a first generation, Filipina American born and raised in Southern California. I have my BA in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!) and my MA in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Specialization from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

I knew I wanted to be a "helper" since I was a young girl. After taking four years after college to explore other possible career options -- which included marketing and administration -- I decided to go and pursue my Master's. Since then, I don't have a doubt that being a therapist is what I am meant to do in this lifetime.

I truly enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and helping them recognize their worth and true potential. I consider it a privilege to do what I do.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy visiting quaint beach towns, YouTubing videos on how to fix various things around the house, spending time with my family, and finding new recipes to try!
